How it works
- Drop .png files onto the box, or choose them from your device. Screenshots, exported designs and scans all work.
- Set the JPG quality. 0.9 for photos and print, 0.8 for email attachments and web forms with size limits.
- Press Convert to JPG. Transparent areas, if any, are flattened onto a white background.

Frequently asked questions
- Why convert PNG to JPG?
- PNG stores every pixel losslessly, which makes photos and full-screen screenshots huge. JPG compresses photographic content 5-10 times smaller and is required by many forms, job portals, marketplaces and print services that cap uploads at a few megabytes.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Your browser decodes the PNG and encodes the JPG on your device. Nothing leaves your computer or phone, and the tool works offline.
- What happens to the transparent background?
- JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent pixels are filled with white. Logos with transparent backgrounds are better kept as PNG or converted to WebP.
- Will text and sharp lines look blurry?
- JPG can introduce faint halos around high-contrast edges. At quality 0.9 they are hard to see; for screenshots of code or UI where crispness matters, PNG or WebP is the better format.
- What are the free limits?
- The free plan allows 3 files per run, 20 MB per file and 10 runs per day. Pro removes these limits.
